Apogee Counseling and Wellness respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website does and does not collect. It applies to the website itself, not to the professional care you receive as a client.

Information we collect automatically

Almost nothing. This website uses no analytics, no tracking scripts, no advertising pixels, and no contact forms. We do not build profiles of our visitors or sell any information, because we do not gather it in the first place.

Cookies

We use a single, purely functional cookie called apogee_waitlist_dismissed. It is set only if you choose to dismiss our capacity notice, so that the notice stays hidden on your future visits. It expires after one year. We use no tracking or advertising cookies.

If you email us

If you choose to reach out by email to lauren@apogeetherapy.com, you share whatever information you include voluntarily. We use it only to respond to you. Please avoid sending sensitive health details over regular email.

The client portal

Scheduling, documents, and clinical records are handled through our client portal, an external service provided by SimplePractice at apogee.clientsecure.me. That platform has its own privacy practices and security measures. Your clinical records live there, not on this website.

Your health information

This website is informational only and does not collect protected health information (PHI). The privacy of your actual therapy records is protected under HIPAA and is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide to you directly when you become a client.

Links to other sites

Our site links to third-party services such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google. Once you follow a link off our site, that site's own privacy policy governs your visit. We are not responsible for the practices of sites we do not operate.
